World series game 1
This game is actually not that bad, it’s fun, no stupid skins and lots of different factions but I have a few problems1: the maps are VERY TINY. Some of the maps are extremely small for no reason, the Paris map and railroad map are pretty good sized but the Okinawa map and Normandy map are extremely small, for Normandy the US team should spawn on the beach and have to take charge the bunkers to make it actually like d day and for Okinawa the little village in the background on the cliff should be part of the map and the Japanese spawn there while the Americans spawn on beach,2: actually factions, it makes no sense that there are Japanese soldiers in France so you can only fight as Japanese soldiers on maps in the pacific and you can only fight as US, British and France on maps in the eastern front and Russian, Romanian or Hungarian soldiers in the East and Germany only in Europe and Africa same as Italy, just would make the game more immersive. https://ippwatch.info/ Add Greek soldiers and a map that takes place in Italian invasion of Greece
WWII Online is a massive scale WAR going on 24/7 driven by players, all on a single worldwide game server. There are absolutely no zones, you can fly your aircraft from one end of the map to the other without despawning.
The Second World War is frequently depicted as a violently bloodthirsty, explosive, and ear-drum-bursting conflict. But not every element of all-out war is noisy or fast-paced. The only thing left to figure out is where it’s going to stand when facing against its more direct competition, like The Troop and Battle Academy. Only time and your personal taste will answer that, but I can see Headquarters: World War easily taking over Battle Academy as the easy to get into and go-to beginner wargame. As for the Troop, while the two games might look similar at a glance, spend enough time with them and the experiences cannot be compared. The movement is different. Yankees reliever Mark Leiter Jr. struck out Shohei Ohtani on a 3-2 splitter with one out in the seventh and a runner on second. The moment helped preserve a 6-4 lead before the Yankees broke open the game late.
Tommy Edman’s reaction to the fan interference play with Mookie Betts in the first inning: “That looked ridiculous from my perspective. The guy was trying to yank his glove off, pulling at his wrist, looked like he got ejected, and I’m glad he did. I’ve never seen anything like that. That was unacceptable.”
Yankees: The Yankees had to backfill Game 2 after Carlos Rodón registered only 10 outs. Jake Cousins (21 pitches), Tim Hill (14 pitches), Clay Holmes (23 pitches), and Mark Leiter Jr. (9 pitches) were all used, but an off-day between games helps. Cousins and Holmes also pitched in Game 1.
Volpe grew up in New Jersey wanting to be Jeter, and in Game 4, Volpe had his Jeter moment. Volpe’s go-ahead grand slam in the third inning seemed to change everything for the Yankees. Finally playing with a lead, their bats came alive and their bullpen was unbeatable. (And just for good measure, Volpe added a double, a walk, three runs, and a terrific play in the field.)

The Arizona Diamondbacks began play in 1998, along with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, as the youngest expansion team in Major League Baseball (MLB). After a mediocre debut season, the Diamondbacks finished the following year first in the National League (NL) West with a 100–62 record, but lost to the New York Mets in the National League Division series. With several All-Star players like Randy Johnson and Matt Williams, the Diamondbacks had high expectations for the 2000 season, but finished third in the NL West with an 85–77 record. During the offseason, team manager Buck Showalter was fired, and replaced by sportscaster Bob Brenly. The Diamondbacks acquired several notable free agent players during the offseason, including Miguel Batista, Mark Grace, and Reggie Sanders. Most of the Diamondbacks players were above the age of 30, and had already played on a number of teams prior to the 2001 season. In fact, the Diamondbacks starting lineup for the World Series did not include a player under the age of 31, making them the oldest team by player age in World Series history. With several players nearing the age of retirement, Luis Gonzalez noted that the overall team mentality was “there’s too many good guys in here to let this opportunity slip away”.
Game 4 saw the Yankees send Orlando Hernández to the mound while the Diamondbacks elected to bring back Curt Schilling on three days’ rest. Both pitchers gave up home runs, with Schilling doing so to Shane Spencer in the third inning and Hernandez doing so to Mark Grace in the fourth. Hernandez pitched 6+1⁄3 solid innings, giving up four hits while Schilling went seven innings and gave up one.
After Randy Johnson, who had entered with two outs in the eighth inning, kept the Yankees off the board and the score at 2-1, Arizona came to bat in the ninth. The crowd was loud, but not crazy loud. Not with Rivera on the mound. Not after he had convincingly struck out the side in the eighth.
The Series began later than usual as a result of a delay in the regular season after the September 11 attacks and was the first to extend into November. The Diamondbacks won the first two games at home, limiting the Yankees to just one run. The Yankees responded with a close win in Game 3, at which U.S. President George W. Bush threw out the ceremonial first pitch. In Games 4 and 5, the Yankees won in comeback fashion, hitting game-tying home runs off Diamondbacks closer Byung-hyun Kim with one out remaining in consecutive games, before winning in extra innings. The Diamondbacks won Game 6 in a blowout, forcing a decisive Game 7. In the final game, the Yankees led in the ninth inning before the Diamondbacks staged a comeback against closer Mariano Rivera, capped off by a walk-off, bases-loaded bloop single by Luis Gonzalez to clinch Arizona’s championship victory. This was the third World Series to end in a bases-loaded, walk-off hit, following 1991 and 1997, and to this date, the last Series to end on a walk-off of any kind. This series held the record for the latest date that a Series ended (November 4), until that record was tied during the 2009 World Series and broken during the 2022 World Series.

If you don’t, I would consider passing out circle markers, pennies, etc. that don’t make much noise. You just want something small that can fit in their hand as they go around the classroom.)
