Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 doesn’t disappoint with its single-player campaign, as developer Raven Software delivers a spy-thriller that feels and plays like a big-budget Hollywood movie gambola casino. Full of memorable characters and explosive moments across a varied selection of missions, the Black Ops 6 campaign is an engaging part of this year’s Call of Duty package.
People were skeptical when Bethesda set out to bring Fallout back, leaving behind the isometric view of the old games in favor of a first-person viewpoint, but that’s the thing about people: they’re often wrong. Bethesda took the template of The Elder Scrolls games and applied it to Fallout’s post-apocalypse America, swapping mudcrabs for irradiated molerats and caves for nuclear shelters. That moment where you leave the vault and emerge into the world likely still occupies some recess of your mind. Part of what makes Fallout 3 work so well is how barren it is. There are long stretches where you’re on the road, slurping toilet water to survive, and it’s those moments that make the big decisions – do you want to nuke an entire town to get a posh apartment or no? – all the more impactful.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game where the rewards are almost always intrinsic. Yes, there’s the goal of powering up Link so he can climb bigger cliffs, but when you climb a mountain or solve a puzzle, the motivation is your own curiosity. The map markers on the horizon should only be ones you placed, simply because you wanted to explore every corner of the world. You really need to draw an intrinsic joy from this, because the Korok Seeds aren’t good enough otherwise. Entirely throwing out the beloved Zelda formula, Breath of the Wild is one of few open-world games that feels as if you can genuinely go anywhere. Once you acquire the paraglider, you will have all the tools you need to solve every puzzle and dungeon in the game, and you can even head straight for the final boss if you feel you have enough strength on your side. One of few games that can be considered revolutionary, and its influence will be felt for at least another generation.
The Xenoblade Chronicles series is a masterclass in storytelling. Even when its dialogue feels a little clunky, and the voice performances are a little lacking, it irresistibly pulls you into the world and connects you with its characters. The care and attention it pays to giving you a full perspective on every major character is a fundamental part of storytelling that so many games cast aside, and that’s how it leaves you in floods of tears by the closing credits in every single game. That’s not even mentioning the top-tier open-world design, engaging (and endless) side quests, and unique battle system that is still fun even after 100 hours.

Cole seemed to be the biggest difference maker in this game, and that’s exactly what he was. Take away that brutal fifth inning — more on that in a bit — and Cole might have been good enough to get through eight innings. As it was, he settled for 6 2/3 innings with no earned runs. Four walks and one failure to cover first base were his biggest mistakes, but Cole absolutely did his part to give the Yankees a chance.
In Game 2 of that series, Max Scherzer carried a no-hitter and a five-run lead into the sixth inning. But Dustin Pedroia busted up the no-hitter in the sixth. Then David Ortiz crushed an unforgettable game-tying slam in the eighth — the one with Torii Hunter toppling into the bullpen. And you know the rest. But that was the only time a postseason game like that had ever happened … until Wednesday.
Freddie Freeman has been named World Series MVP. He homered in the first four games of the series, setting a record by homering in six consecutive World Series games dating to 2021. He matched another record by driving in 12 runs, tying 1960 Bobby Richardson for most RBI in a World Series. (Richardson got seven games, and his team lost. Freeman got five.)

The Yankees got a runner on first thanks to an Alex Verdugo single, but Gleyber Torres grounded out to third to end the inning three pitches later. Max Muncy made a nice play fielding the ball on a short hop.
The Yankees are only the fourth team out of 25 to win Game 4 in the World Series after losing the first three. No team in World Series history has ever forced a Game 6 after falling behind 3-0. The Yankees will try to do that back at home on Wednesday with their ace, Gerrit Cole, on the mound.
As for the Dodgers’ pitching plans, well, they have shown twice this postseason that they can piece together a win entirely with their ‘pen, including in their NLCS clincher against the Mets in Game 6. And they’ve been firmly in control of this World Series ever since Freddie Freeman swung them to victory in the 10th inning of Game 1.

Robertson’s work also makes two cameo appearances in the movie of the same name, as a 1-Up symbol that Michael Cera’s character nabs in a moment of need, and at the very end of the movie’s credits, in which an animated Scott Pilgrim beats up a ‘The End’ title card.

Scott Pilgrim-themed Avatar clothes and props were released on Xbox Live’s Avatar Marketplace on August 12, 2010. The game’s original soundtrack by Anamanaguchi was released on Amazon and iTunes by ABKCO Records in North America on August 24, 2010, and was released internationally on August 30, 2010. Downloadable content was released for the PSN version on November 9, 2010, to coincide with the film’s DVD and Blu-ray Disc release, including Knives Chau as a playable character and two additional game modes: Battle Royal and Dodge Ball. The XBLA version was later released on December 28, 2010. A second DLC pack, which implements online multiplayer and adds Wallace Wells as a playable character, was scheduled for release on February 5, 2013, but the pack was delayed and eventually released on March 12, 2013 on PlayStation Network and on March 13, 2013 on Xbox Live Arcade.
