I wish that you didn’t have to use supply points to level up weapons because it makes the grind of maxing out a class while also leveling up weapons very tedious unless you are trying to ascend just a single one.

While it may not have garned much attention during its initial release, the game’s transition towards being free to play ensures its accessibility and active coop playerbase. Futhermore, the addition of new maps, zombies missions, and other content ensure the game evoles as you play.
The game is a co-operative third-person shooter in which four players fight against massive hordes of zombies in seven locations, including New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, Rome and Kamchatka. Each location, or episode as it is known in-game, is divided into 3-5 individual levels. After completing a level, players receive “supplies” based on a resulting defeat or victory. Supplies can be used to upgrade weapons and unlock new attachments. Perks can be bought for specific classes using supplies.
