This is the best war strategy game I’ve ever played. But there’s some countries that they probably should be able to be chosen by actual players and not just bots. Like in World War III, most of the stans are not able to be played, only Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. How about Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan? These are only suggestions, I’m not trying to be bossy. I know overkill exists but I wish that most of the biggest countries in the entire world can be actual players and just the World War III game mode. I also don’t like the research and the mobilization cause it’s in real time. I also don’t like the gold spending stuff, there’s no ads, and it could be addicting in a good way. I play this on my iPad and my phone. I tried playing it on other devices but I really just prefer it on mobile. I just don’t understand why it’s rated teen it’s not like your in first person and you’re actually seeing people being shot. I love that’s it’s free. Most mobile games are free, but they usually contain ads. If you can update the World War III mode, please give access to choose more countries that used to be bots, like Cambodia, Nepal, and Oman. Also, players can be toxic, they swear in messages on a diplomatic slide thing and they make inappropriate newspapers. Maybe make a block option. Just a few suggestions. Have a nice day.

This is a great game! It is not a short game (they do have 4x speed games, but I didn’t play any of them). You also have to learn the game really fast and mostly on your own. There isn’t a tutorial, at least one that I can remember. There is a group chat specifically for help in the game. Other than the loooooooooong time that it takes to play a single map the only other thing I didn’t like was that one of the items in the game that you need to build bases/buildings and produce troops is severely disproportionately needed compared to other resources. So towards the end of the game you may have zero of one that one resource but have fifty thousand of all the rest of the resources…Another great thing about the game is you don’t have to pay to win! I did watch a lot of ads for gold, but never bought any and one the game easily… By easily, I mean I had a rocking strategy… I just noticed I used one instead of won. Yes, I could have gone back and fixed it, but sometimes you just got to let things go so people can go “HA! Dude wrote one instead of won. What an idiot!” And then wonder if they felt like an idiot after they realized the writer left it on purpose and that everything after that was just a waste of their time… GREAT GAME!!!

Towards the middle of the game you….. wait…… ahhhhh….. I won’t spoil it for you your going to have to play it yourself, it was brilliant for it’s time and is still brilliant today so go and get it my friend otherwise you will have an unfurfilled life! The BadIt would be sack religous to say anything bad about this game.

The introduction to this game is incredibly creepy as the music sends chills down your spine and even though all the elements seen on screen are somewhat familiar to us, the experiment and technology is far too advanced for the common man to understand. So the only thing we can draw an immediate relation to is Lester since he is seemingly a completely normal young man, lanky, plain. The opening cinematic was quite amazing for its time, offering cinematic camera angles and impeccable attention to detail which stood out leaps and bounds from the often redundant pictorial introductions that can found in other games released during the time period. As soon as Lester is teleported into the game has started, and here you get your first glimpse of brilliance in this game. There is no HUD to be seen, no scores to be acquired, no indication that the game has started, the only thing you see is Lester floating in the deep. On the top of the screen you see trickles of light on the water surface, while on the bottom there are what seem to be tentacles reaching for you. You draw from your natural instincts and swim up as fast as you can towards the light, towards the surface.

When working on Future Wars, Chahi became increasingly frustrated doing only graphics works on someone else’s vision and story. Having come from a background with complete control over his output, he felt the process was too limiting and unsatisfying and even though he was offered a spot as a graphic designer and animator for Delphine Software, he soon lost inspiration and ambition to work on games through other people’s ideas. This would all change when Chahi got his hands on the Amiga release of Dragon’s Lair. This version of the game was quite remarkable for being able to bring home the full motion video laserdisc game onto an affordable storage medium, 6 floppy disks in total. Having always wanted to make a proper cinematic experience through video games, technology finally seemed to allow this to become reality.
